Birgham Photo Club - Photo of the Month

December

Rule of Thirds'.     The Rule of Thirds is a means of framing, or cropping a photography using a 3 x 3 grid.    By centering parts of the photograph on any of the grid lines, or key elements of  the grid junctions the content of the photograph can be enhanced.

Two photographs were tied as photo of the month: Fiona Livingston's super photo of giraffes in Botswana and Bob Hope's close up of a Whooper Swan Signet on the Tweed.

Our next Club meeting will be on Tuesday 6th January at 7pm in Birgham Village Hall - all welcome.

ALTHOUGH OUR WEE VILLAGE CAN'T BOAST ANY ICONIC LANDMARKS AS SUCH, WE STILL HAVE A FEW NOTABLE SCENIC VIEWS AND INVARIABLY THERE WILL OFTEN BE AN INTERESTING ASPECT OF SCOTTISH COUNTRY LIFE THAT THE CAMERA CAN CAPTURE.

SO, IF YOU’VE TAKEN AN INTERESTING OR UNUSUAL PHOTO OF LIFE IN AND AROUND BIRGHAM - PLEASE SHARE IT WITH US - WE WILL GIVE IT PRIDE OF PLACE ON THIS PAGE AND IT COULD BE A CONTENDER FOR THE 2026 BIRGHAM VILLAGE LIFE CALENDAR!
