A Pilot Community Led Environmental Monitoring Scheme Using Fixed Point Photography.
As a result of generous grant funding from Destination Tweed, and the support of both Lord Home of the Hirsel Estate and the Leitholm, Eccles & Birgham Community Council - a pilot environmental monitoring Fixed Point Photography [FPP]scheme is currently being established in Birgham Haugh.
What is Fixed Point Photography?
THE FPP PROJECT IS NOW FULLY OPERATIONAL! GIVE IT A TRY.
FURTHER DETAILS WILL BE PUBLISHED HERE SHORTLY.
6 FPP Posts and camera mounts have been installed at strategic locations adjacent to the copse path and the riverside walk in Birgham Haugh. Explanatory signage and QR code signs have now been fixed to each FPP post. Further information is also be displayed on the new community noticeboard which has been installed close to the bench seat near the wooded copse at the west end of the riverside walk.
